About Us
We have an Open Door Policy for parents whose children are registered at Cornerstone and we welcome them anytime. A guided tour is scheduled for new students and their parents before they attend.
The overall goal at Cornerstone Preschool is to promote healthy growth; physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. There is a great respect for individual differences. Every child is different, unique, and of great value. Our primary concern is the children's happiness and safety.
Children are encouraged to maximize their potential and develop at their own pace through well-planned and developmental guidelines. Children gain feelings of self worth and become active learners through play which offers opportunities for problem solving, challenges, and successes. At Cornerstone, we believe that children learn through interactions with their environment. Learning by doing makes the experience concrete and real to children. Each child is encouraged to explore, learn, contribute, question, and grow in their own way at their own pace.
Physical Building Cornerstone Preschool is an early learning facility with 6,000 square feet of indoor educational space. There is a large outdoor area where children find an endless number of large and small motor skill activities. The cheerful and spacious physical surroundings are safe and hygienic for both indoor and outdoor activities.
We are open Monday through Friday,
6:30 am until 5:30 pm.
